The Gallia County Board of Developmental Disabilities is on the ballot November 7th, asking for a one mill increase to their continuing levy (costing the average homeowner in Gallipolis approximately $80.00 additional taxes each year). The additional funds are needed to support Guiding Hand School, which is operated by the Gallia County Board of Developmental Disabilities. This levy will determine whether the board will be able to continue operate Guiding Hand School beyond this school year.
