The Gallia County Board of Developmental Disabilities provides lifelong services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Gallia County, Ohio.  Services provided include: Home Based Instruction for ages 0-3, Preschool classes for ages 3-6, School Age classes for ages 6-21, Employment options for ages 18 and above and SSA services.

OUR MISSION

To ensure the availability of programs, services, and supports that assist eligible individuals with developmental disabilities in choosing and achieving a life of increasing capability such that they can live, work and play in the community, and to assist and support the families of these individuals in achieving this objective.

Title IX Coordinator

The Gallia County Board of Developmental Disabilities Title IX Coordinator has participated in training through Bricker & Eckler. As required by the new Title IX Regs [106.45(b) (10)(i)(D)], we are providing the training materials on our website. The Title IX Coordinator for the GCBDD is Amy Summers. The GCBDD does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education program or activity, and is required by Title IX and its implementing regulations not to discriminate in such a manner.
